HOD (Applied sciences & Humanities)
The Department of Applied Science & Humanities is one of the indispensable departments of our institute. It imparts excellent quality education in the area of Physics, Mechanical engineering, Math, Chemistry & Humanities. Our aim is to run the department with regularity and punctuality. This department aims to provide a strong foundation in the fundamental science and mathematics with the basic tools of analysis as well as the knowledge of the principles on which engineering is based. The department also strives to instill the scientific temper and the spirit of enquiry in students. It encourages the students to understand and therefore apply the physical laws to the development of their fields of study. The department has well equipped laboratories and a departmental library as well.
Mathematics is one subject that leads to skill- development and innovation, the more mathematical we are in our approach, the more successful we will be. Keeping in view the universality of the subject, mathematics faculty of BPIT provide the platform to the students to realize the beauty of this subject and embrace it for solving real life problems. At the Applied sciences and Humanities Department, we believe that technical knowledge, when combined with strong communication abilities, ethical awareness and civic responsibility, creates well-rounded professionals who are not only successful in their careers but also contribute meaningfully to society. Our highly qualified faculty members at BPIT, who are distinguished researchers and educators, bring more than a decade of experience to the classroom in the fields of linguistics, literature and communication. They are dedicated to providing a dynamic and interactive learning experience through engaging lectures, discussions, case studies and real-world applications. Beyond academics, we actively encourage students to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities that refine their soft skills, leadership abilities and critical thinkingWe invite you to explore our department and join us on this journey of knowledge, values and lifelong learning.
